I read many times the article written by the 2 well known lawyers on Federalism and the core issues of " safeguarding" and " protection" when Malaysia was formed. These are matters pertaining to " Territorial waters", " Continental Shelf" and " Mining Act".
Argument put forwards by Jemuri Sarjan, JC Fong, Shaik are few that worth pondering.
I believe that Adnan should declare the State's firmed stance on our predicaments or else we will be cursed by our future generations for our leader's lacklustre attitude on this natural resources of oil and gas issue after the upliftment of the State of Emergency.
When the Federal Government try to steal our resources through legal means vide the constitution, it was mentioned that Tun Rahman try to sue the Federal. He was called by Tun Razak to stop his intention to sue the Federal.
I guess Denan should deal with this issue once and for all rather than applying a small pen knife by threatening Petronas by the only weapon- that is the work permit. That is my view. It is not sustaining in the long term.
